Non-Muse event (basketball game)

As a non-muse event, I attended a San Jose State Spartan men’s basketball home game against Saint Mary’s private college. This was the first college basketball game I have ever attended and it was a very good experience. In high school, I played basketball for three years and to see guys my age playing at the college level, made me feel like I should be playing as well. I have a lot of friends on the men’s basketball team so it was nice to support them and watch them play for the first time. Prior to the game, the was a lot of talk on who was the best players and how good the team was this year and it was good to experience this first-hand. It was a very good game and it seemed like both teams were playing with great intensity. In the first half, we were up by about 18 points but Saint Marys seemed to catch up. We ended up losing that game by 7, which was pretty devastating but I still enjoyed watching the guys play. The way the team played made me believe that they had a chance to go far. They played with a lot of heart and with a lot of teamwork, as if they had been together for a long time.
