Muse event ( Managing you money)

I attended a muse workshop titled, “Manage your Money”. This workshop was very informative and relevant to my current situation. I happen to have a big problem with spending money and not being able to save. The workshop explained how most student has the same problem as me. The speaker gave many tips and strategies on ways to manage your money efficiently. They stressed the importance of saving and buying things that are needed and not just at your leisure. Thinking about the future is the key to managing your money. Another major point that was discussed included when and when not using cash or credit. They explained how using cash for small items is better than using credit for small items. Credit is only appropriate to use when you are purchasing big items such as furniture, bills, and expensive household appliances. Having good credit is very important in today’s society. Good credit can have an impact in purchasing a car, and a house. Bad credit can deprive one of many things that our essential in life. My dad has bad credit and he complains that his credit deprives him from purchasing more property. I learned a lot from this muse workshop and it helped me with managing my money.

  1. I totally agree with their advice about saving money, and on using cash and credit. It really is important to learn to manage your money. Otherwise, no matter how much you make, it'll never be enough.
